About the Course
The discourse on spirituality can often feel too theoretical, esoteric, or even cultish.
This series will explore the topic from a practical lens, catered to those seeking a deeper connection to God and themselves.
Who It's For
New Muslims and recommitting Muslims, as well as anyone looking for a practical approach to spiritual development.
Some of the questions explored in this course include:
- 01 What is spirituality?
- 02 What is the history of Islamic spirituality?
- 03 What are the historical criticisms of spirituality?
- 04 How has modernity shaped our views of spiritual development?
- 05 What is the difference between a spiritual community and a cult?
In addition, we will be doing a contextual and practical reading of an Islamic spiritual manual upon completing the preliminary discussions.
